I spent most of last week in Park City. I thought I would try to get a good picture of some wildlife. It did not go as I had hoped. After spending a week in attempt to get a good wildlife shot, this is the best I got. If only I could have positioned the animals so that the sun was not in my face, I could have come back with something a little better. However, this experience increased my respect for those real photographers that spend time shooting wildlife. It is much tougher than one might think.
The moon has always been quite intriguing. Those close up shots of all the craters and uneven surfaces can be capturing. It is my goal to post at least once a week and although I have tried to carry my camera with me everywhere I go, I didn't get a good shot all week. Tonight I thought I would take my chances with shooting the moon. It didn't work out as well as I had envisioned, but I will blame that on my lens.
After thinking and talking about it for two years, I am finally doing it: my first post. This is a picture that was taken almost a year ago. However, it is one of my favorite pics that I have taken to date and I thought it would be a good one to start the blog.
